Ministering the Message of Christ
Sunday Morning at 11 a.m.
We meet each week to worship God and give our thanks and praise, to share our faith with others and to learn and grow.
Worship may be led by the minister or a Local Preacher supported by worship leaders and other members of the congregation. We embrace the traditional and modern in our services, in approach to worship and the use of music. Electric Piano and praise band all contribute as appropriate. We have a data projector and laptop which we use to enhance worship and give more options for different styles of services.
We celebrate Holy Communion on the 1st Sunday of the month.
Our young people have their own learning and activities for part of worship in Junior Church except the 3rd Sunday which is all-age worship.
Holy Communion
This is celebrated every Thursday 6.45 p.m. and 3rd Sunday at 10 a.m.
These services last for about 30 minutes. Worship includes Bible reading and reflection and moves on to the communion with words from a variety of sources: Iona Community, Methodist Worship Book and others. After the hustle and bustle of our hectic lifestyle, these help you unwind and find peace and rest.
Praise Service
2nd Sunday of each month except December.
These services offer a variety of forms of worship. They have included meditation, healing, extremely lively times and quiet thoughtfulness. They are more informal and generally feature modern songs with piano and worship band accompaniment. All are welcome.
